Deputies are investigating after a driver found a dead man Sunday on the side of a Central Florida highway.
The driver reported the body at around 2:30 p.m. on the side of State Road 415, near Lake Ashby Road and west of New Smyrna Beach, according to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
No details as to who the man was have been released at this time.
VCSO is actively investigating the scene.
