A man died in Tampa Sunday afternoon after crashing the car he was driving and overturning into the Hillsborough River, according to the Tampa Police Department.
The crash happened near the intersection of West Columbus Drive and North Riverside Drive. Officers found the man, the only occupant, dead in his car.
