One of the victims is in surgery, though their condition is unknown. None of the other injuries are life threatening, according to police.
Authorities believe the shootout came from two separate groups holding individual celebrations of a birthday and a graduation at adjacent suites at the strip mall along East R.L. Thornton Freeway.
Police said members from each party stood outside at the back of the building after an argument broke out that led to a physical confrontation. After the groups went back to their respective suites, shots were reportedly fired.
One of the minors suffered a single gunshot wound to their leg.
