The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency reported 77 new cases of coronavirus on Friday but no new deaths from the pandemic disease.

Out of 9,351 test results received in the past day, 0.8% were positive, and the 14-day rolling average of positive tests remained at 0.8%.

Hospitalizations increased by nine patients and two more required intensive care.

A total of 1,796,497 county residents are fully vaccinated and another 340,869 have received their first dose.

The county is at 85.5% of its vaccination goal and should reach 100% by the end of this month.
