June 18 (UPI) -- Andra Day, DaBaby, DJ Khaled and H.E.R are confirmed as performers for the BET Awards ceremony on June 27.
Also booked to sing at the event are City Girls, Jazmine Sullivan, Kirk Franklin, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Migos, Moneybagg Yo!, Rapsody, Roddy Ricch and Tyler The Creator.
Empire alum Taraji P. Henson is hosting the live gala, which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Rapper and actress Queen Latifah is to be honored with this year's Lifetime Achievement BET Award.
"As we return LIVE with culture's biggest night, this year's show marks many firsts -- including the highest number of performers in 21 years of BET Awards; and viewers can expect several surprise moments," Connie Orlando -- executive vice president of specials, music programming and music strategy -- said in a statement Thursday.
"Some of today's hottest talent will join us for our return to Los Angeles for an unforgettable night celebrating Black excellence."
Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby lead the BET field with a total of seven nominations each.
Cardi B and Drake follow closely behind with five nominations apiece, and Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Chloe x Halle and Chris Brown with four nominations each.
