CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton county neighbors were shocked to find out that their teen neighbors were wanted by local law enforcement.

Channel 2′s Tom Jones visited the neighborhood and spoke with residents about all of the recent activity.

Neighbors saw police bring several assault weapons out the home in which the teens were staying. They had no idea that this type of artillery was inside of this home.

Surveillance video shows officers in unmarked vehicles racing to a home on Sir Winston Court on Wednesday afternoon. The marked units showed up just minutes later.

“It was like back to back, like seven SUV’s flying up the street,” said neighbor Jakki Cross.

The large police presence made neighbors realize something big was going on in the normally quite neighborhood.

Police arrived and arrested two young men, both accused murderers who had been on the run.

“I would have never though they were murderers,” said a neighbor.

Neighbors describe the teens as being polite and nice young men.

“They were good kids. They were yes ma’am and no ma’am,” said neighbor Yvonne Watson.

Police say Jaquez Williams,18, and Ronald Hyson,18, were far from good kids on March 21. Police say they murdered 18 year old Jamal Tinch in Albany. They have been on the run since.

“Very, very, like scary. We’re living in scary times now,” Cross said.

Neighbors saw police bring several weapons out of the home.

“He had about maybe six of them in a bag,” said Watson.

Neighbors are wondering what were the plans for all of those weapons.

“People got a lot of motives. Bad motives and you never know,” said Cross.
