Pennsylvania lawmakers are working to make to-go cocktails permanent.
The policy came to an end at the conclusion of Gov. Tom Wolf’s COVID-19 emergency disaster declaration, which was officially halted Tuesday when the May election results were certified.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board will enforce the change.
“It’s really been a strong addition for us,” said Nick Ciesielski, the co-general manager of the Railyard Tap Room in Bridgeville.
To-go cocktails were implemented in May 2020 as a way to help the struggling bar and restaurant industry during the pandemic.
