'I'm obsessed with them!': EastEnders fans praise Danny Dyer's touching scenes with his daughter Dani after she plays a taxi driver in LABOUR

EastEnders fans were full of praise on Tuesday as Dani Dyer made her first cameo on the soap opposite her dad Danny. 

The former Love Island contestant, 24, burst onto screens as a pregnant taxi driver called Jeanette who picked up Mick Carter [Danny] from Albert Square, only for her waters to break moments later.

Of the appearance, Dani told the Mirror: 'I really love working with my dad he really does make work easy with whatever we do together.' 

In the scene, Mick told Jeanette: 'Thank you so much, you are literally my guardian angel," as she picked him up to take him to hospital for his wife Linda's pregnancy scan. 

Chatting about parenthood, Jeanette then asked Mick whether it was his first time becoming a dad, to which he replied: 'No, it's my sixth I suppose.' 

Jeanette then joked: 'You don't sound so sure, postman been busy, has he?' unaware of the fact that Mick discovered Linda's baby is actually Max Brannings. 

In an unexpected turn of events, when the pair get to the hospital Jeanette goes into labour as her waters break and she starts to experience contractions. 

Mick quickly jumped into action and jumped into the driver's seat of the cab, at which Jeanette apologised: 'I didn't mean that postman comment, honestly.' 

Referencing her partner, she sweetly added: 'I hope Dave is half as good as you.' 

Fans were quick to take to social media to gush at how touching the performance between the daddy-daughter-duo had been. 

'Not Danny Dyer and his daughter having a scene together on Eastenders today. Bye.. I love them,' wrote one touched viewer. 

'Good to see Danny Dyer real life daughter make a cameo on EastEnders,' said another. 

Piling on more praise another fan commented: 'Omg obsessed with this Danny Dyer and Dani Dyer collab on #EastEnders.' 

Another added: 'Danni and Danny have great on screen chemistry.'

Speaking about getting into character, Dani revealed on Tuesday: 'To be honest, I started looking at YouTube first to see how pregnant women act...

'Then I realised I’ve been pregnant so I was better off relating to myself!,' she added. 

'I absolutely loved being pregnant, so it was mad having a bump back on and it made me miss my bump even more!'  

Dani welcomed her first child, Santiago, in January with her partner Sammy Kimmence. 

And Danny appears to have struck a close bond with his grandson as he was seen dotingly kissing the adorable baby's head at a family BBQ. 

The EastEnders star and his wife Joanne Mas, 44, hosted the gathering over the weekend, which Dani and her five-month-old son attended. 

Dani posted the sweet snap of her father cradling his grandson as well as a series of other snaps of herself cuddling her little boy.   

Dani and Danny have previously appeared on screen together in films Vendetta, Run For Your Wife, Doghouse and The Other Half. 

Dani previously auditioned for a role on EastEnders, but didn't land the part and instead joined Love Island where she was crowned champion alongside ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham. 

In 2018, she said of the audition: 'They wouldn’t let me in it. I think it’s because my dad is already on it, so if I went on it, there would be a massive outrage.'
