    Gov. Abbott Continues to Politicize the COVID-19 Pandemic as Texas Fall Short of July 4th Vaccination Goal

    AUSTIN, Texas–As we approach the Fourth of July weekend, Governor Greg Abbott’s failure to stop the spread of COVID-19 by getting Texans vaccinated continues to halt the state’s recovery. 59 percent of adult Texans have received at least one vaccine shot, solidly below President Biden’s goal of having 70 percent of adults with at least one shot by July 4th. Our state’s failure to reach vaccine distribution goals is no surprise as Gov. Abbott spent the past legislative session signing extreme bills to score political points instead of addressing the real problems facing Texans. Read more

    he doesn't speak for everyone that lives in Texas , I don't trust the government matter the side they haven't been telling the public the truth ! the current politicians that are in office don't care about the citizens of Texas .. am not taking the vaccine which keeps changing so as for me and family we continue to wear our mask
