Kieran Hayler makes thinly-veiled dig at ex Katie Price for not being a 'strict' parent to their children... as he likens his approach to her first husband Peter Andre's
Katie Price's ex Kieran Hayler has made a thinly-veiled dig at his former wife for not being a strict enough mother.
Kieran, 34, shares children Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, with the media personality, 43. She has three other children - her eldest son Harvey, 19, from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, and Junior, 16, and Princess, 13, whose father is Katie's first husband Peter Andre.
Speaking about his parenting skills with Closer magazine, Kieran said: 'When it comes to me and Kate, we're just so different as parents. I'm like Pete in the way I'm strict. They've got strict bedtimes.

'Junior and Princess and Jett and Bunny always say, "Mum's not like that, mum's not so strict or regimented", but in the week I want them to have a regular bedtime - they brush their teeth, read a story, go to bed earlier.
'That is how I grew up and that is how I want them to grow up.'

He also claimed that his fiancée Michelle Pentecost have a similar parenting ethos, as they prepare to welcome a son together this year. Michelle also has a son from another relationship, Valentino, 10.
Elsewhere, Katie's son Junior revealed he doesn't want anymore siblings, despite his mother's plans to undergo IVF with her fiancé Carl Woods.
The teen said he believes there would be too much of an age gap between himself and another sibling and he wouldn't be able to enjoy the same bond with them as a big brother as he does with his other siblings.
His mother Katie revealed earlier this year that she is undergoing IVF with Carl so her terminally ill mother can 'see them have children.'
Junior and sister Princess have half-siblings Amelia, seven, and Theo, four, who his father Peter has with wife Emily, as well as Harvey, Jett and Bunny.
Asked if he'd like another sibling, Junior told OK!: 'No, because I think the age gap would be too big.
'If Emily got pregnant now that means the baby would be born when I'm almost 17 and I don't think the same strong bond would be there.
'I'll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see. I also have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us.'
But Peter, 48, explained that he understands his son's concerns but thinks he'd still have a great bond with a sibling - though he also knows it may not be too long before the teenager makes him a grandparent.
Despite his talks of becoming a grandparent, Peter admitted he doesn't want to be called grandad because it would make him feel old, preferring to go by 'Big G' or 'The OG'.
While Katie has been open about her plans to have a baby with fiance Carl Woods, her ex-husband is more uncertain about the idea of having another child with wife Emily, 31.
He said of the possibility: 'Hell to the no! Every time I think about it and think it would be great, we then meet people who've just had kids and spend an hour with them and I don't know if I can go through all that again.
'But that's not to say never. I did say we had this year to decide and I didn't want to be changing nappies after I'm 50, but because of Covid I've pushed it back a year to 51!'
Speaking with the magazine, Peter also let slip that his daughter Princess may be following in his musical footsteps as he revealed she had been awarded a music scholarship at her school.
And it is not just Princess with musical aspirations, Junior has also set his sites on a career in music and acting - admitting he is focusing on his acting currently.
The teenager had a couple of lines in the movie On The Other Foot which is due to be released later this year.
