Crash into Tacoma building may have started fire

TACOMA, Wash. — A crash into a building may have sparked a fire in Tacoma.

Tacoma Fire crews were called to a commercial building in the 1900 block of Marine View Drive around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters arrived to find flames coming from the building. Everyone inside was able to get out safely.

No injuries have been reported.

Crews are working to put out the main fire and checking to see if it spread to adjacent buildings.

Firefighters later said an SUV that crashed into the building may have started the fire.
