One Dead After Multiple Pedestrians Struck In Harrisburg, Say Police

Multiple people were hit by a car Monday night and one of them has died, according to the Harrisburg police.

Police were dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving injuries to the area of North 15th and Herr streets around 5 p.m., say police.

Upon arrival officers discovered that a motor vehicle traveling through the intersection had collided with pedestrians, causing critical injuries.

Two individuals were transported to hospital, one of which later died as a result of their injuries.

The Harrisburg Police Traffic Safety Unit responded to the scene and is conducting the investigation.

The investigation remains active.
