Toddler rushed to hospital after falling out of window in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — A toddler was rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after falling out of a third-floor window of a home in Carrick.

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3, EMS, and Fire responded to the 1800 block of Brownsville Road for reports of an injured toddler just before 3 p.m.

Once at the home, first responders located the boy who had fallen. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition.

Detectives from Major Crimes and the Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene.

His exact age has not been released, but neighbors said he is two.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
