Saying I'm obsessed with Tpumps is an understatement. Before all the new and innovative boba shops opened in the city, Tpumps was my favorite for years and even now, I have to stop by and grab a cup when I am in the Sunset neighborhood. I always go out of my way to San Francisco even if it's just for Tpumps since there is something so delicious about their fresh brewed and high-quality tea along with their flavor syrups. There's usually a line out the door but don't let it discourage you since it goes by quickly and the employees are super nice. This place uses syrup instead of powder so you get high-quality milk and fruit teas. There are tons of options to customize your drink by choosing 3 different flavors.

I usually go on Tuesday for Tpumps Tuesday which means you get a free upgrade to their Pumbo size although I am not sure if they are still doing this deal during the pandemic since I haven’t been on a Tuesday for a bit. My go-to order is usually the strawberry mango peach black milk tea with boba. If you are interested in fruity drinks, this is the flavor combination for you and it is also on the milky side. Their boba is also pretty good if you are more into the chewy and gelatinous texture. They usually have samples of different flavors they come up with so you can try them before you order but they are not doing this to be conscious of the pandemic. If you want to see what the top flavors are here, there are recommendations of their top drinks so you can see the different concoctions. Their drinks are pretty consistent and I never had a bad drink here even if I choose random flavors. I wouldn't classify this place as somewhere to chill and hang out with friends; more of an order and go. Find street parking since it is in Sunset and can get tricky since it is a busy area. The price ranges around $3.50 and is extremely worth it for the quality of their boba and size and I highly recommend this boba spot!

Overall, check out Tpumps if you are looking for a boba shop where you can customize your flavors. Their syrup selection is extensive and you can make so many flavor combinations here. I have visited Tpumps probably over ten times throughout the past few years and can say that this is one of my all-time favorite boba shops in the Bay Area!
