After opening the second-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers with a sizzling 45 point performance on 16-of-30 shooting from the floor to lead the Utah Jazz to victory, 112-109, Donovan Mitchell picked up right where he left off for game two.
The Louisville product went right back to work against the Clippers, scoring a game-high 37 points on 15-of-29 shooting from the floor with four assists and three rebounds in 39 minutes. Mitchell got hot from long distance, drilling six triples on 12 attempts from beyond the arc.
Bojan Bogdanovic, Rudy Gobert, Joe Igles and Jordan Clarkson followed Mitchell with double-figure scoring efforts to help push the Jazz to another victory in game two, 117-111.
During Mitchell’s game two performance, his childhood friend and current Golden State Warriors forward Eric Paschall chimed in with a reaction on Twitter.

Through six playoff games, Mitchell has tallied 30 or more points in four contests. The two-time All-Star guard is averaging 32.7 points on 48.2% shooting from the floor and 41.9% shooting from deep during the 2021 edition of the postseason.
After back-to-back wins to open the series, Mitchell and the Jazz will travel to Hollywood for game three against Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the Clippers on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. PT.
