PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — A 2-year-old child was shot in the head Friday night in Port St. Lucie.
Police said the shooting occurred just before midnight at the Evergreen Condominium complex.
"The 2-year-old had a gunshot wound to the head but was still breathing," Port St. Lucie police Assistant Chief Richard Del Toro said. "The child was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center and is currently in critical condition."
Police are looking for Mohamed Faiyaz. The 21-year-old was present at the time of the shooting.
