(Atlantic) Atlantic Municipal Utilities General Manager Steve Tjepkes says their water supply is holding up very well.
Several area communities have recently issued water use restrictions, but Tjepkes doesn’t foresee that happening in Atlantic.
The U.S. Drought Monitor released on Thursday shows almost all of Iowa is suffering from moderate to abnormally dry conditions, with the northwest corner of the state under extreme drought conditions.
