When we tested the Always Pan, it cooked up everything from a batch of deep-fried, crispy chicken to perfectly roasted peanuts with ease, while making pasta with the added stainless-steel steaming basket was a breeze. This cookware was lightweight, making it simple to handle, conducted heat quickly, thanks to its aluminum core and boasts a PFOA-free ceramic coating. You'll want to take care with it, however, as it can otherwise scuff up quite easily. 

We did have a few issues with the metal basket, as it only stood 1-inch tall, which means it won't function as a proper steamer: It can be useful for blanching veggies, however. Better yet, the basket along with an included wooden spatula and matching lid can all be packed up directly into the Always Pan when you're done using it, making for easy storage.

As for the Everyday chef's knife, the company claims it will have you slicing, dicing and mincing like a pro. It features similar eye-pleasing colors as the rest of Our Place’s kitchenware, and is constructed German steel that the brand designed to reduce meal prep times. Just make sure not to stick this pick in the dishwasher, as you risk damaging the blade.
