The European Championship will not only showcase a wealth of talent, but provide an important scouting opportunity for clubs scouring the transfer market for talent this summer.

Premier League giants are on the hunt for their next big star and will look to Euro 2020 to see how potential targets perform on the big stage.

From Jadon Sancho to Raphael Varane, Sportsmail have rounded up eight players who could arrive in the Premier League next season.

Jadon Sancho (England)

Potential clubs: Manchester United

Manchester United remain in talks with Borussia Dortmund over the possible signing of Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils even presented the Bundesliga side with their first official offer on Thursday.

However, their opening bid was said to be rejected by Dortmund - who are looking for €90m (£77m) with bonuses in order to sell the England international.

Nevertheless, it is believed Manchester United have had a breakthrough regarding the players' personal terms - leaving just the transfer fee to be resolved.

Raphael Varane (France)

Potential clubs: Manchester United

Real Madrid would be willing to sell Raphael Varane for around £52million this summer after the 28-year-old centre-back showed little desire to extend his decade-long stay with the club.

As it stands, Varane has just one year remaining on his contract, meaning Real would listen to offers.

As a result, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Varane as a potential partner for captain Harry Maguire as he looks to bolster his defensive line ahead of the 2021-2022 season.

Varane boasts an impressive CV - having won four Champions Leagues, three La Ligas, one Copa del Rey and the World Cup. He could be the man to help United push for the Premier League title next season.

Kylian Mbappe (France)

Potential clubs: Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea

Kylian Mbappe should be one of the most exciting players to watch during the European Championship this summer given his impressive form at PSG.

The World Cup winner will not only be looking to claim more silverware at Euro 2020 but he will be looking to impress an potential suitors as he heads into the final 12 months of his contract at PSG.

As it stands, discussions continue between Mbappe and the Ligue 1 club over an extension but that hasn’t stopped Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea from monitoring the situation closely.

The Premier League giants could go head-to-head to win over the player who has scored 42 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions for PSG during the 2020-2021 campaign, should he become available.

However, PSG are desperate to try and extend his stay in the French capital this summer - and his long-term goal has always been to play for Real Madrid, although they probably cannot afford to sign him this summer.

Marcus Thuram (France)

Potential clubs: Arsenal, Tottenham

Marcus Thuram is another player who could feature in the Premier League next season after gaining the attention of both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Tottenham are said to be leading the race to sign the signing of the highly-rated Borussia Monchengladbach forward this summer.

With the potential departure of Harry Kane, the end of Gareth Bale's loan deal and the disappointing impact of Steven Bergwijn, Tottenham badly need to reinforce their attacking line-up.

However, with two years left on his current deal, Thuram - who is the son of France legend Lilian - will not be a cheap option for the English side.

Marcel Sabitzer (Austria)

Potential clubs: Arsenal, Tottenham

Arsenal and Tottenham have emerged as possible destinations for RB Leipzig star Marcel Sabitzer. The attacking midfielder was linked with the Premier League giants in January but neither club were able to secure a deal.

Sabitzer - who heading to the final year of his contract - has spent the last six years at Leipzig and says he is open to trying somewhere new. While Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has hinted at reducing the size of the squad this simmer.

As a result, the 27-year-old midfielder could be available to Arsenal for just £15m this summer after he rejected a contract extension.

However, Arsenal could have to fight off more than just Tottenham if the 27-year-old performs well at Euro 2020.

Milan Skriniar (Slovakia)

Potential clubs: Tottenham

Former Manchester United target Milan Skriniar toyed with the idea of moving to the Premier League last year and was linked with Tottenham in January.

After four successful seasons at Inter Milan, the centre-back may feel it is a natural time to move on.

Skriniar could head to the English top-flight after this summer’s European Championship - with his likely destination being Spurs.

The north London side are hopeful of landing the 26-year-old – who has just two years left to run on his contract at the San Siro.

However, Skriniar could still agree on an extension with the Nerazzurri after joining the club in 2017.

Kieran Trippier (England)

Potential clubs: Manchester United

Kieran Trippier has told several English players that he would like to return to the Premier League next season. Additionally, he has identified Manchester United as a potential destination.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign a more attack-minded right-back to compete with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and United have reportedly made an offer of just £10m for the England international. That fell way short of Atletico's valuation, with the Spanish side telling the club Trippier can only leave if his £35m release clause is met.

The ball is now in United's court but it is not yet clear if they will be willing to pay the fee for the 30-year-old defender.

The England star and LaLiga title winner will be looking to use the European Championship to prove his worth to the United manager.

Jules Kounde (France)

Potential clubs: Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal

Jules Kounde is another player that has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all interested in his services.

Manchester City attempted to sign Kounde last summer as they sought after a reliable centre-back. However, it is said that Arsenal are now leading the transfer race this summer.

Mikel Arteta is eager to bolster his defence after struggling to sure-up his backline following the departure of David Luiz.

Alexander Isak (Sweden)

Potential clubs: Arsenal

It is no wonder Arsenal are interested in Alexander Isak. The 21-year-old will be leading the way for Sweden at Euro 2020 after scoring nine goals in his first six LaLiga games of 2021.

Isak has been named as one to watch in the squad - despite the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic - due to his ability to run with the ball and sprint in behind the opposition's defence.

These are qualities that Arteta is looking to add to his Arsenal squad. However, the situation is complicated by the fact that Borussia Dortmund retain a €30m buyback clause on a player, though reports suggest Real Sociedad hope to pay a fee to get that clause scrapped.

Should that be the case, Arsenal may table an offer for the forward this summer.
