Even for visitors, getting vaccinated against COVID 19 in Miami is becoming simpler.

In cooperation with Miami Dade County authorities, the federal government has created a temporary vaccination clinic at Miami International Airport that will run through June 18, except June 8 and 9.

The primary site is on the fourth floor of Terminal D, in the auditorium. Anyone over the age of 18 can get a vaccine between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., without making an appointment.

Pfizer's two-dose vaccination was offered when the experiment began in mid-May. Because it is an airport, the majority of persons who are getting vaccinated there are in transit, thus the vaccine created by Johnson & Johnson, which is a single dosage, is being administered during the month of June.

This makeshift clinic was designed with airport employees in mind. Tourists, like with any other vaccination station in Florida, are the ones who make the greatest use of this clinic because evidence of residency in the state is not required.

Furthermore, since the majority of county residents who wish to get vaccinated have already been, the focus is now on individuals who do not live in Miami.

The sole condition to get vaccinated, like in the rest of the state, is to provide a paper proving the person's age. They may want an address, which might be a hotel or a temporary rental location in some situations. They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if they are between the ages of 12 and 16.

Thus far, 18.9 million people in Florida have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.

Flights to Miami have soared in popularity as a result of "vaccine tourism," and tickets are up to 85% cheaper.

International flights have outsold domestic tickets in the first twelve hours of the e-commerce Hot Sale 2021, which started at 0 and will end at midnight on Wednesday. In this context, an increase in demand for flights to Miami, which leads the searches after the expansion of the Offer starting in September, with prices starting at $ 75,000 on flights with stopovers, was fueled by the ability to get a quick vaccination and fewer restrictions on carrying out recreational activities.

The authorities' limits on the number of flights permitted by ANAC as a precaution to avoid coronavirus infections, which led supplies to be constrained despite strong demand from persons wishing to fly to the United States to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

"There is an incredible demand for flights to Miami, and rates fluctuate a lot depending on the date,” said Julián Gurfinkiel, the Turismocity platform's founder.

Don't forget that American Airlines and Delta have direct flights this week for between USD 3,100 (about $ 505,300) and USD 3,600 (about $ 586,800). Prices for flights with layovers might also be over USD 3,100, depending on the airline and connections.

In contrast to last year's editions of Hot Sale 2020 and CyberMonday, according to the Avantrip agency, “international flights got off to a stronger start” than domestic flights in the early hours of the morning.

Miami is the most popular destination in this situation, followed by Punta Cana, Orlando, New York, and Madrid. After a year away from this sort of event, these destinations have reclaimed their top spots.
