June 9 (UPI) -- Carrie Underwood took home the top prize at Wednesday night's 2021 CMT Music Awards, while co-host Kane Brown also won big.

Underwood and collaborator John Legend claimed the coveted Video of the Year award for their song "Hallelujah" in the entirely fan-voted awards show in Nashville.

Brown won Male Video of the Year for his song "Worship You." He also took home the prize for Collaborative Video of the Year for "Famous Friends" with Chris Young and the pair performed the song to close the show.

His co-host for the evening, Kelsea Ballerini, won the award for CMT Performance of the Year for her performance of "The Other Girl" with Halsey at last year's awards.

Other big winners included Gabby Barrett earning Female Video of the Year for "The Good Ones," while "Wine, Beer, Whisky" netted Little Big Town Duo/Group Video of the Year and Dylan Scott brought home Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Nobody."

Despite leading the field in nominations with four each, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris failed to snag any of the top awards.
