Sunrise Florida, Donald Trump Will Be Hosting a History Tour With Bill O'Reilly in December

Two powerhouses in conservative politics, Donald Trump and Bill O'Reilly have announced they're teaming up to do a tour that will touch several American cities. The two will be speaking and talking about the political climate of the United States, among other things. Things have been quiet for President Trump since the weeks following the January 6th uprising in the U.S. Capitol, when Trump was kicked off of several social media sites, including Twitter and Facebook.

But recently, Trump has been starting to make more appearances in public, suggesting that, perhaps, he misses the feeling of being in the spotlight. A few days ago, Trump returned to the stage in North Carolina to deliver one of his usual campaign speeches. You know, the kind that draws the big crowds of speech-goers in MAGA hats, toting signs and American flags, decked out in all sorts of Trump memorabilia?

Yeah, those events. Those are back.

And now, they'll be back with a long-time conservative powerhouse, former Fox News reporter Bill O'Reilly, who once had a primetime show on the networks before the network was sued over his alleged sexual misconduct and he ended up having to pay $32 million to the victim.

O'Reilly has been mostly out of the spotlight since that incident also, with the occasional tweet that might stroll across users' feeds; he's been off the political radar since his fall from grace, as new and emerging figures in today's Republican Party have blossomed, hogging the limelight for themselves.

You know their names, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, and Jim Jordan.

But while those figures are the prominent names we see in the news media, make no mistake, by the poll numbers, Donald Trump still controls the Republican Party. And this tour with Bill O'Reilly might signal a resolidification of many members of the conservative movement who've dissipated over the years.

In a recently released press release discussing the tour, President Trump issued the statement:

“These will be wonderful but hard-hitting sessions where we’ll talk about the real problems happening in the U.S., those that the Fake News Media never mention. I will be focusing on greatness for our country, something seldom discussed in political dialogue. If we don’t make our country great again, we will soon no longer have a country. I look forward to working with Bill, who right now has the No. 1 bestselling book, to openly discuss the real problems of our country, and how to solve them. Additionally, it will be fun, fun, fun, for everyone who attends.”

What's strange to me, is that the things they'll be discussing won't be what's coming up next for Trump. It'll be more of a retrospective, where the hosts will discuss things that went on during the four years of the Trump presidency, apparently in conversation format.

The Sunrise event will be held at the BB&T Center on December 11th at 3 p.m., per O'Reilly's website, and tickets for the event will go on sale on June 21st at 10 a.m., for those interested in attending. Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster once the sale date arrives.

Could this be Trump starting up the very beginnings of another presidential bid in 2024? Or might this be a farewell tour? Time will tell.
