Alleged drug dealer charged with murder in overdose death of Wekiva man

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — An alleged drug dealer has been arrested and charged with murder in the overdose death of a Wekiva man.

This is the third such dealer charged with murder in the last couple of months.

There have been at least 30 drug dealers to be charged with murder since the law changed a few years ago.

Most people have pleaded to lesser charges to avoid life in prison. A lot of the cases are being solved through the victim’s cellphones.
