Woman thrown off motorcycle and over bridge in Hartsburg on Saturday morning

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Saturday morning, an approximately 50-year-old woman was riding her motorcycle when she was thrown off the bike and then fell off a bridge into the creek bed below.

The accident happened around 10:20 a.m. on Saturday morning in Hartsburg, Mo. The woman was riding with a group of 12 other riders when she lost control of her motorcycle according to Southern Boone Battalion Chief Colin Wright.

When the Southern Boone Fire and University of Missouri EMS arrived on the scene, they were able to rescue the victim and she was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
