Restaurant Review - Buffalo Phil's Pizza & Grille in the Wisconsin Dells

Are you looking for a fun and delicious stop to eat at when visiting the Wisconsin Dells? If so, bring the whole family to Buffalo Phil's Pizza & Grille for family friendly food in a fun atmosphere.

The Wisconsin Dells is known for family fun, and their restaurants are no different. With fun menus, decor and novelties for all ages, this Midwest destination city has lots to offer from fun family activities to delicious eats and treats.

One stop our family made during our recent visit to the Wisconsin Dells was to Buffalo Phil's Pizza & Grille.

With a family friendly menu, Buffalo Phil’s specializes in rotisserie chicken, BBQ, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, steak, seafood and offers Lil’ Buckaroo meals for the kids. They are an allergy friendly restaurant and offer separate menus for the top allergies including Dairy, Eggs, Gluten, Peanuts, Seafood, Soy, and Tree Nuts.

The restaurant also has a full drink menu, a variety of appetizers and lots of delicious desserts.

After a long busy day of waterparks, go carts and other fun in the Wisconsin Dells, our family was starving and ordered a burger, chicken and a pizza. The food was quick, hot and delicious with generous portion sizes.

The pizzas are definitely big enough to share and a large pizza would have easily fed our family of four.

One of the most popular draws of Buffalo Phil’s are the trains and displays. The restaurant has elaborate displays including a model train city, a gigantic LEGO city and a working mini amusement park. Bring a few quarters to bring the amusement park to action.

Drinks and most food are promptly delivered by train car, making the novelty a fun experience for kids and adults. The only exception was our gigantic pizza that was too large and was brought by our friendly waitress. We didn’t even have to ask for drink refills, they just magically arrived when we needed them with a special train stop at our table.

Looking for some more fun activities to do after your family is fed? Buffalo Phil’s is located next door to Knuckleheads, a fun trampoline park, arcade and more.

Reservations at Buffalo Phil’s Buffalo Phil’s in the Wisconsin Dells does not take reservations. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. During our visit mid-afternoon, there was plenty of seating, but things definitely picked up near the dinner hour, so you may see a short wait for a table.

If you're planning on bringing a group of 20 or more, contact their group sales department for available seating.

If your family is looking to make a visit to Buffalo Phil's, hours of operation are Sunday- Thursday - 11am - 8pm and Friday & Saturday - 11am - 9pm.
