    While New York City is certainly the state's most popular tourist attraction, it is also brimming with world-renowned sites. The actual choice of selection is personally determining where one wants to visit. What exactly is provided in this document are some of the top places in the city.     1. Times Square

    Every visitor to New York City, whether it be for a week or for an entire month, will see plenty of must-see activities and activities in the nearby surroundings of Times Square.  The center of Times Square is at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue, where you will be amazed by the many large screens that display anything from the latest movies and television programs to major special events.

    Public streets are jam-packed with artists, entertainers, and visitors enjoying the clamor of the city, along with the alluring aromas coming from the many food trucks parked around the streets. Even while in the area, a trip to a play at one of the world-famous theatres in the Theatres District.

    This place is particularly child-friendly, making traveling with kids a lot of fun. Some of the most popular family attractions like Madame Tussauds include beautiful waxworks and fascinating exhibitions, but also give a unique point of view.     In addition to all of the many retail establishments located in Times Square, there are many little and large retail businesses located here, and you can't appreciate the place without visiting M&M World.     2. Central Park

    Though it may look on a map as a little patch of green inside the grid of Manhattan streets, Central Park is a large place in which you will find several sights and activities that will keep you occupied for a while, if not longer. There are a wide variety of things to do in the park. One may enjoy spectacular architecture, and tranquil gardens, or else enjoy ice skating rinks.

    While the Bethesda Terrace is renowned for its breathtakingfountain, as well as the Mall. A gorgeous, expansive promenade that is partially hidden by the intertwining branches of towering American elms starts on the terrace. Travelers will discover various tranquil locations to take a break, such as the Shakespeare Garden, formal Conservatory Garden, or the renowned Chess & Checkers House.

    3. Niagara Falls

    Thousands of tourists from across the world go to Niagara Falls each year to see one of the world's natural marvels. Actually, three waterfalls can be found in the park. The first waterfall is called Bridal Veil Falls, the second waterfall is called American Falls, and the third waterfall is known as Horseshoe Falls. Mist coming from the falls is most prominent on days that are clear and quiet. The view can be viewed from a distance in Toronto, almost a hundred kilometers distance.  

    4. Lake Placid

    Lake Placid has a famous resort that had earned a huge reputation for holding two winter Olympics. Nowadays, the town has emerged as a popular tourist destination, set in a magnificent natural setting with lakes and hills. Despite being most well-known across the world for its winter sports, in particular skiing, many still go to the town in the summer to take advantage of the cool weather. The restaurants and stores are endless in the major tourist district, and they're all of different styles and sizes. Lake Placid has more than one lake, albeit the main body of water has been designated Lake Placid. However, the town of Lake Placid has a gorgeous Mirror Lake, a spectacular attraction too. This lake, situated in a magnificent location, making it a natural majestic marvel.

    5. Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty

    Statue of Liberty in the United States' most famous landmark, representing inspiration to thousands of foreigners who are about to cross the Brooklyn Bridge on their journey to Ellis Island. Because Battery Park Ferry (a National Park Service managed service) travels throughout the day with service commencing in Battery Park, this ferry makes it possible for tourists to visit both sights.

    At the base of the statue is a viewing platform with a sweeping view of both the monument and the New York City skyline. It is free to use. You may also buy tickets to get access to the pedestal or crown. However, crown passes usually sell out many months in advance.
