Two injured, one seriously after a two-vehicle Audrain County wreck Tuesday

AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person is seriously injured after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Highway 19 and Highway 54 in Audrain County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report states that Jerome Woelfel, 80, was driving northbound on Highway 19 in a 2018 Chevy Equinox when Karen Tyler hit the vehicle in a 2020 Toyota C-HR.

The Equinox overturned and came to a rest on top of the northbound shoulder of Highway 19 according to the report.

Jerome Woelfel was taken by ambulance to Audrain Community Hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in the Equinox, Sharon Woelfel, 78, was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt.
