If you're ever in Indianapolis, a great souvenir shop to check out is Pumkinfish, located in The Garage. The Garage is an old Coca-Cola plant remade into a shopping and eating hub right in the middle of Indianapolis. It's truly a must-see place to visit, and Pumkinfish will help you memorialize the trip with great souvenirs. They're open every day of the week!

Traditional Souvenirs & Unique Finds

Pumkinfish has your traditional trinkets, such as quirky purses, bath bombs, calendars, greeting cards, and spa products. Surprisingly, it is difficult to find magnets with the city name on them unless you're in New York City. We were happy to find multiple Indianapolis magnets to choose from here. We ended up purchasing two, one for us and one for a relative.

Pumkinfish has plenty of locally-made items, but the majority of these products seemed to be consumables, not keepsakes. We ended up grabbing two bags of caramel corn made by the South Bend Chocolate Factory in Indianapolis, whose shop we later stumbled across while walking around at the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument circle.

The caramel corn was delicious and well worth the money. However, as many touristy places tend to be, this souvenir shop was pricey! We got two bags of caramel corn and two high-quality magnets for approximately $45.

Final thoughts

Pumkinfish is expensive, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better Indianapolis magnet selection anywhere else. This is the go-to place for magnets. You would be surprised how few souvenir shops in Indianapolis carry Indianapolis magnets. As for the edible snacks, pick some up if you're in a rush. If you have the time, go to the shop the items are actually from to save some money. You'll want that money to enjoy the rest of The Garage!

Regardless of price, Pumkinfish is a joy to window shop at, and everyone will find something they enjoy there. Keep an eye out for the smaller items, as the deals are better! They are open every day of the week starting at 10:30 AM and close at 9 PM most nights, closing at 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Check out their magnets and small trinkets assortment!
