Abel’s Lobster, located at 13 Abel’s Ln Mt. Desert Island (MDI), Maine has been a family-owned, full-service restaurant that opened for the season 14 May 2021.
The restaurant is only open during the summer months with hours of operation Tuesday thru Saturday from 12 pm to 3 pm for lunch, from 3 to 4:30 pm for light snacks and drinks, and from 4:30 pm to 9 pm for dinner service. If you’re looking for brunch, join Abel’s every Sunday from 9 am to noon.
Abel’s has been in business since 1975, providing service to commercial vessels and pleasure boats. The restaurant is a sister company of Bar Harbor Catering Company. Their motto is “Good enough isn’t good enough!”

The Islesford Dock Restaurant
