Detroit Man Arrested For Sex Trafficking
Having a missing child is terrible on its own but, knowing that they endured sex trafficking is another difficulty that's hard to work through.
These are stories that we hear about in different states but, we fail to realize how it can simply happen where we live. We can be surrounded by the people committing these crimes and harming these families.
The people that commit these crimes show a lack of sympathy for what they are making these young women and boys do and how it changes them.
A parent's worst nightmare has ended as two teenage girls ages sixteen and seventeen have been rescued from living in a Detroit home with sex trafficker Kevin Levon Giles.
In article from Fox 2 News called "Detroit man charged by FBI with teen sex trafficking out of his home" by David Komer and Online Producer elaborated on the details by stating
"The FBI was first tipped off to the case after getting information that the 17-year-old had run away from home and was living with Giles on April 16, then found that the second teen was also living there.
Authorities also recovered an adult victim from his residence that he advertised on the website. The complaint alleges that Giles used coercion to cause the adult woman to engage in commercial sex acts."
In addition to the arrest, Kevin Levon Giles will appear in court on June 1st and he will not be receiving any bond.
Lastly, the FBI is currently looking for any other victims they have had an encounter with Kevin Levon Giles.
