Celebrate National Burger Day by indulging in Rochester's best burgers
In honor of National Hamburger Day, there is no better way to celebrate the day than to eat a big juicy hamburger! Today, we will be talking about the BEST hamburgers in Rochester!
The secret to a hamburger with optimal flavor is moisture and fat. The fat in almost any kind of meat, including beef, is what gives it all of its delicious flavor. The moisture contributes to the texture because no one wants to bite into a dry, overcooked burger. Most burgers in a lot of average restaurants offer burgers that are made of ground chuck, sirloin, brisket, or even a mixture of some. The goal is usually to have beef that has a higher percentage of fat that will make the burger juicy and irresistible.
Rochester, NY certainly does not disappoint when it comes to a good old burger! Below are my top two favorite places to get a burger in Rochester.

Their burgers are out of this world and so juicy! Also, their menu includes burgers that are very creative and not your every day plain old burger. Below is one of their most epic burgers.
- Mac Daddy burgers. This hamburger is topped with a deep fried mac daddy patty, cheese sauce, and bacon all in between a soft brioche bun! For more ideas, be sure to check out their menu and head over to Blu Wold Bistro to indulge in one of their amazing burger creations.
2. The Gate House Cafe. This cute little restaurant located in Village Gate Square has an array of options when it comes to burgers! Having options is one thing but making sure they are of quality is a whole different topic and I can assure you, these burgers are to die for. The Gate House burgers all have unique names and they sure to make a statement. Check out the burger they have on the menu below. Doesn't that sound awesome?!
