Caliente to buy two remaining Sharp Edge restaurants in Crafton and Sewickley

PITTSBURGH — Jeff Walewski has reached an agreement to sell his two remaining Sharp Edge restaurants to the ownership of Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse.

With an emphasis on great beer as a common bond, owners Nick and Angie Bogacz are shooting the make the transition from the Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Crafton and the Sharp Edge Bistro in the village of Sewickley by the end of the year, looking to carry on many of Walewski’s beer selections as the restaurants become the sixth and seventh Caliente Pizza locations.

“We’ll keep the tradition going that Jeff started of bringing and curating great beers from around the world,” said Bogacz.
