May 25 (UPI) -- Love & Hip Hop: New York couple Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels are headed for divorce.
TMZ reported Tuesday that Mena, 33, filed for divorce from Samuels, 39, Friday in Fayette County Superior Court in Georgia.
Mena is seeking primary physical custody of Safire Majesty, her 15-month-old daughter with Samuels. Mena is also requesting child support and exclusive use of their family home.
Radar Online confirmed that Mena filed for divorce last week. Court records list the case as a "divorce annulment."
Mena and Samuels married in October 2019. The pair announced earlier this month that they are expecting their second child together.
"More Life," Mena wrote in a since-deleted post. "Who wants that perfect love story anyway."
"Marriage - It's not easy at all. But having a family of your own makes up for it all," she said. "God I thank you for the protection and all the consistent blessings. I been through way too much to not be as grateful as I truly am."
Mena was not wearing her wedding ring in a baby bump photo she posted Friday on Instagram.
Mena has appeared in six seasons of Love & Hip Hop: New York, while Samuels joined the series in Season 8. The reality series was in the midst of its 10th season on VH1 when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
