Fun Events Happening Near Menomonee Falls on May 25th

Another Tuesday here in Menomonee Falls. Did Monday get you down? Why not head out tonight to a fun event? Here are some of the best events going on in and near Menomonee Falls today! There are plenty of things to choose from, both indoor and outdoor events.

  • Poetry and Live Band at Oasis Milwaukee

Come out to Oasis Milwaukee between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Tuesday night for a fun evening. It is a great place for local artists to come together for one night. The doors open at 7 p.m. with the show from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. If you buy tickets in advance, it is $10 per person. Otherwise it is $15 at the door. There are also VIP sections available for $100 with up to 4 people and you can get bottle service. You will need to wear a mask to enter the venue.

  • Moonlight Paddles by Milwaukee Kayak Company

Want to get in some exercise and enjoy the beautiful night? Check out this Moonlight Paddles event being put on by the Milwaukee Kayak company from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. You will get to spend the evening out on the rivers, exploring sites and counds of the city by the light of the moon. These events take place during the full moon or just before or just after a full moon. This is a fun and casual event that makes for a great night with friends and family. You will launch from the dock just before the sun sets and then paddle back as the moon lights the way. You will also get headlamps. The Milwaukee Kayak Company will provide a kayak, life jackets, paddle, headlamps, paddle lesson and instruction.

  • Rock-A-Thon in the Village of Sussex

Head over to Sussex for this fun Rock-A-Thon event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a great chance to celebrate older Americans Month and support Senior Programs in the community. There will be cookout concessions along with live music by A Little Bit of Heaven. All of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit senior programming. All ages are encouraged to participate.

  • Traveling Beer Garden at West Milwaukee Park in Milwaukee

There will be a fun Traveling Beer Garden at West Milwaukee Park in Milwaukee on Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event is being put on by the Pass Me A Pint tour. Bring family and friends and enjoy local brewers from Sprecher. There will also be snacks such as polish sausage, brats and pretzels as well as empanadas from Triciclu Peru. Plastic cups for beverages will be provided. The proceeds from this event go to support local parks. You can pay with cash or a credit card. Due to the WI mask ordinance, you need to wear a mask when ordering food/drinks or interacting with event staff.

  • Dance Class for Kids at Dreams Life and Wellness Center in Waukesha

If your kids like to dance, consider this fun class from Dreams Life and Wellness Center in Waukesha from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. They will be learning different dances from all over Latin America. This class takes place every Monday at 5 p.m. The first class is free, and then costs a monthly fee of $40. This class is for ages 3 to 6, but from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there is a class for kids 7 to 12.
