Eurovision fans in meltdown as rapper Flo Rida 'steals show' after he's confirmed as entry
Eurovision Song Contest 2021 viewers were left waiting for the party of all parties on Saturday night, following the surprising news that American rapper Flo Rida was going to perform.
Many viewers were left baffled when it was announced the artist was performing as part of an entry alongside singer Senhit for San Marino.
Not many viewers tuning in had any idea the rapper was going to be on the show, let alone taking part in the contest.
After the initial confusion, many got super excited as they were informed he would be performing right at the end to close the contest.
Viewers took to Twitter to warn others to "get ready" as the "party" was coming.
It had been announced before the live final that he would be singing with Senhit, but many missed the memo it seems.
His music hits include Right Round, Club Can't Handle Me, Good Feeling, GDFR and Whistle.
But the Low rapper was performing Senhit's track Adrenalina this time around - and it's safe to say it went off.
Informing viewers that they were not seeing things, host Graham Norton quipped: "She is joined on stage by Flo Rida. Yes... I dunno how he got involved..."
As the performance went on, viewers raced to Twitter calling for the entry to win as they loved it.
One viewer said: "Waiting for the party!!!"
A second tweeted: "I honestly cannot get over how Flo Rida has just came in and stole the show at Eurovision."
Another wrote: "Wow, loved the closing song with FLO RIDA!"
Others could not believe their eyes, with one writing: "Not me just finding out that it REALLY was Flo Rida on stage. Brooooo I thought it was just a look-alike."
Another said: "WAIT FLO RIDA IS COMPETING? WHAT."
A third tweeted: "I'm still in shock that I didn't clock that Flo Rida is participating."
