"We know it's always difficult playing Burnley. I'd say they are the most comfortable team's at playing that defensive block - they never panic and sort of relish that. They're amazing at doing it."

"It's never easy. I think at times tonight [we struggled a little], and ultimately we knew the pressure would be on us tonight."

The midfielder who has struggled with injuries this season then went on to praise the centre-back duo of Rhys Williams and Nathaniel Phillips.

"We had to defend at our best. I think the two young boys there tonight - Rhys and Nat, did really well again overall."

After praising the defenders, he went on to praise the team's effort and highlight the three goals that saw them see out victory.

"We knew it could come down to the goal difference because it's so tight. The first thing to do tonight was to get the three points though, but it was good to score three goals because these goals can be handy."

Before closing out the interview, he discussed his goal and how he has to always work hard in training to get these opportunities.

"It's always nice to get a goal. It's lifted my spirits - the stuff I want to do, the opportunities haven't come so readily for me. But that's not really too important for me - the important thing is the team."

"I keep my head down in training and keep working so whenever I get the opportunity, I'm ready. It's a way to end tonight personally, and for the team too."
