Wayne and Coleen Rooney look every inch the happy couple in cosy snaps as they enjoy a romantic getaway to Scotland 

Wayne and Coleen Rooney enjoyed some quality time together as they took a trip to the luxurious Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder, Scotland on Wednesday. 

The pair looked every inch the happy couple in a snap Coleen, 35, shared to Instagram as they wrapped their arms around each other.

Coleen looked radiant in a black long-sleeved mini dress which she paired with a  matching handbag.

Football manager Wayne, 35, opted for a casual look, sporting a black jumper with a pair of dark jeans. 

The mother-of-four also shared a photo of the couple enjoying a romantic meal at the hotel where she sported a bright fuchsia top. 

Coleen, who also wore a pair of pearl earrings, captioned the post with a series of love hearts.  

It comes after Coleen shared a glam picture of her with her mother Colette to celebrate her birthday on Tuesday, along with a heartwarming message.

The WAG shared the picture of her cosying up to her mother on Instagram alongside a message in which she thanked her for being a constant support.

She wrote: 'Happy Birthday to our Queen. We love you more than you will ever know and appreciate everything you do. Thanks for always being there there for us and everyone.'

In the family picture, Coleen wore a black button-down smock dress with puffed sleeves. 

She paired the looked with some large Chanel earrings which tied in perfectly with her matching handbag and gold chain strap.

The mother-of-four, to sons Kai, Cass, Kit and Klay, opted for a pared-down makeup look and had her hair blowdried for the occasion.

Beside her, mother Colette wore a sheer blouse with beautiful lace detailing which came together at the neck in a large pink bow.

She had her hair styled in a short bob and wore a silver bracelet and some stud diamond earrings.
