The Spurs really struggled down the stretch, losing four straight games to close out the regular season, going just 1-2-1 ATS. While they were a bit erratic against the spread, total bettors loved them at the window, as the Over went 4-1 in the final five outings.
The Grizzlies fell on the road against the Golden State Warriors in their season finale, 113-101, but they had won five consecutive games including four at home. As far as the total is concerned, they were the opposite of the Spurs, as the Under was 3-0 in their final three and 6-1 across the past seven.

The GRIZZLIES (-175) are moderately expensive if you want to just bet a winner straight up without having to deal with the points. That’s some people’s preference, but for me, I’d rather just bet the home side and lay the points. I don’t believe this one will be terribly close.

Against the spread (ATS)
The GRIZZLIES -4 (-110) swept the most recent two-game set against the Spurs +4 (-110) Jan. 30-Feb. 1, winning by a combined 131.0 PPG to 107 PPG. They cashed in each game in San Antonio as an underdog. Look for Memphis to roll on its home floor here, as they have been hot lately, and San Antonio, not so much.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 222.5 (-110) is the play here, even though the Grizz have hit the Under in six of their past seven. The Over is on a roll for the Spurs lately, and the Over connected in each of the three regular-season meetings in this series.
