Hollywood Beach To Host All-New Savor SoFlo Food Festival In June

Next month, local foodies, wine enthusiasts, and craft beer aficionados are invited to sip, savor, and be seen during the first ever Savor SoFlo Food Festival.

The all-new food-focused event is hitting the beach in Hollywood, making its official debut in grand style. Taking place June 5-6, the two-day festival will feature a first-class culinary showcase of South Florida's most celebrated chefs, acclaimed restaurants, and breweries — along with a curated selection of wine — located within the Grand Tasting Village on Hollywood Beach.

The SavorSoFLO event joins founder/creator Tammy Gail's sister events, Cocoa Beach Uncorked (CocoaBeachUncorked.com) and Savor St. Pete (SavorTheBurg.com), as the latest Florida-based, weekend-long showcase of food, wine, craft beers, and culinary expertise. This year, all three annual events are expected to welcome thousands of foodies to the fold.

"We are thrilled to host the inaugural Savor SoFlo on beautiful Hollywood Beach this summer," said Gail. "This event comes at a pivotal time, as it gives the hospitality industry a chance to shine once again and showcase the unique culinary adventures and experiences that exist in South Florida."

During the event, expect a palate-pleasing, star-studded weekend destination event showcasing the talents of renowned wine and spirits producers, brew masters, chefs and culinary personalities to educate, entice, enlighten and entertain the South Florida community.Tickets are now on sale for VIP and general admission, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Memorial Healthcare Foundation and Glam-A-THON™. 

As part of the Savor SoFlo experience, all event guests will receive a limited-edition wine glass, custom tote bag, wine glass lanyard, and exclusive access to the Grand Tasting Village that is located within a 20,000-square-foot tent. Food, wine, and beer samplings are all inclusive in the ticket price.

In an effort and observance of Hollywood Beach’s mission to reduce its environmental impact and become more sustainable, Savor SoFlo and all participating vendors will solely use compostable or biodegradable materials throughout the weekend. Additionally, the festival will be operating under strict mask and social distancing guidelines and safety regulations of the CDC, City of Hollywood and Broward County.

General admission tickets are priced at $75 and include unlimited tastings from 1 to 4 p.m. VIP tickets are priced at $100 and include exclusive access to the VIP Spirits Lounge featuring top shelf and innovative spirits, along with full access to unlimited tastings from noon to 4 p.m.
