A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on US 95 near Charleston Boulevard (Las Vegas, NV)
On Saturday night, a person died following an auto-pedestrian crash on US 95 near Charleston Boulevard.
The incident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle happened at about 8:55 p.m. After arriving at the crash scene, troopers found a blue Chevy Monte Claro. As per reports, the Chevy was heading north when it struck a pedestrian walking in the travel lane for reasons that are yet to be known.
The pedestrian died on the spot due to the crash. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The authorities have not reported any impairment. Officials shut down Northbound US 95 following the crash and delays should be expected for three hours. They asked the drivers to adopt alternate routes.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
