Located near Cincinnati, the Creation Museum is one of the best museums to see in the region. It is located at 2800 Bullittsburg Church Rd in Petersburg, Kentucky.

The Creation Museum is one of the most unique museums in the world because it is focused on biblical history. For some people, this is definitely controversial, but it is still worth a visit.

The Creation Museum first opened on May 28 in 2007. The opening drew 4000 visitors and a lot of national and international attention.

The facility is 75,000 square feet and filled with exhibits. Overall the museum is very similar to any natural history museum. The difference is in what the museum promotes.

Nearly 150 exhibits feature fearsome animatronic dinosaurs, talking heroes of the faith, and professional displays that honor God's Word. The museum also boasts a fun-filled, 200-seat special effects theater, a state-of-the-art planetarium, a petting zoo, nature trails, and lots more. - The Creation Museum website

The Creation Museum is focused on the Biblical interpretation of the creation story and the existence of the universe, life, and all the planetary systems. You get to see planets and dinosaurs along with the depiction of Adam and Eve from the Bible. Basically, science and religion are merged together and interpreted according to the Bible.

The Creation Museum also offers the Ark Encounter. The Ark Encounter is simply a full-size Noah's Ark that is modeled after the dimensions described in the Bible. The ark is massive at 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. The Ark Encounter is located in a different place away from the Creation Museum. It is in Grant County in Williamstown, Kentucky which is about 40 miles from the museum.

In addition to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter, further places and events of interest include the botanical gardens, a playground for kids, a petting zoo, a planetarium, a 4D Special Effects Theater, and even a chance to get on zip lines.

The Creation Museum is ranked highly on Google Reviews with 4.5 stars out of 5.
