  • Things We Don’t Say at Three Cellars in Menomonee Falls

Check out this event right in Menomonee Falls at Three Cellars from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This craft beer for mental health project was created to change how we think about mental health. We do this by encouraging people to talk about their feelings and experiences, both bad and good, and to demonstrate the importance of asking for help when needed. There will be on draft and in-package the contributions brewed by some great breweries.

  • Wine Down Wednesday at The FireHouse in Milwaukee

Head over to Milwaukee and The FireHouse for Wine Down Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event will feature live music and wine flights. There is no cover charge and entry to the music is free. The wine tasting is available for $25 per person. This week features Uncorked Rose, Rabble Rose, Piquitos Moscato and Rabble Red. There will also be food provided by Lola’s Empanada Truck. There will be a full bar available as well. No carry-in food or beverages will be allowed. Masks and social distancing is required. Live music will be provided by Cameron Webb.

  • Furniture Painting at Art N Soul Design Studio in Brookfield

Head over to the Art N Soul Design Studio in Brookfield from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for this fun event. You will get to explore and work with a variety of chalk paint colors and finishes this Wednesday. You will need to bring in a small furniture piece to refinish. It should be a small end table or stool size. Depending on which type of finish you pick, you may need to return to the studio to finish on another day. You will learn how to clean and seal wood surfaces, how to choose the most cost-effective tools, how to apply one and two-color finishes to create different looks, how to apply glaze or wax, how to buff for shine or distress for a matte finish and learn the difference between transfers and stencils. The cost is $55 if you bring in your own piece of furniture. The studio will provide a piece for you for a total of $65 with the class. Make sure to let them know in advance if you want them to provide a piece of furniture.
