Three best fountains in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a tourist mecca, and within this mecca are three must-see fountains for those of you water lovers out there.
The first, and most famous fountain, is of course sitting outside the Bellagio. Every half hour before 8pm and every fifteen minutes after 8pm, you can watch one of the multiple versions of the show. (Times are: weekdays 3pm-12am and weekends 12pm-12am.) There have been special event shows, like the Cher-themed show after one of her concerts at a neighboring casino. And there are standard shows that have become staples of the Las Vegas Bellagio, like Andrea Bocelli’s Con te Partiro.
The second most amazing Las Vegas fountain is a little more exclusive the Bellagio fountain, and it can only be viewed by guests visiting one of the bars or restaurants inside the Wynn. The show is called the Lake of Dreams, and it runs every half hour from 6pm-11:30pm. While Bellagio offers a more classical fountain show with water shooting out in arches, the fountain show at Wynn is much more a form of modern art. There’s a viewing screen that shows a variety of colors and beats. Sometimes a snake even emerges from the water and simulates a bite! Though you can view this with a fancy meal at one of the restaurants along the waterway, the most inexpensive place to view this show is at the bar, Parasol Down. You’ll need to buy a drink, but you can enjoy sipping it at the outdoor patio while you catch the fountain show.
Lastly, there is a fountain show in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. If you venture to the Cheesecake Factory, you’ll see the statues come to life every half hour. It’s the most dated of the three fountain shows, but it’s definitely a fun experience. It can be extra fun if the guest you’re bringing for a stroll through the Forum Shops doesn’t even realize the statues are about to be life-like!
