Who Is Giuliana Rancic's Husband? Meet Spouse Bill Rancic

Giuliana Rancic felt like she hit the marriage jackpot when she said “yes” to forever with her husband, Bill Rancic. Considering fans know all about the red carpet icon and longtime TV personality, it’s time to learn about her spouse, who is an entrepreneur, television star and doting dad of one.

The first thing you need to know about the two is that they’re absolutely in love. Giuliana once marveled over her beloved hubby while posting his annual birthday tribute on Instagram.

“You truly get better (and more handsome) with every passing day and every passing year,” the Fashion Police alum gushed, adding she and their son are so lucky to have Bill in their lives. “Duke and I are totally enamored with you … today and forever. Love you, baby!”

Giuliana and Bill first met in 2004 after the Hollywood hunk starred and won the first season of The Apprentice. The former Live from the Red Carpet star told Us Weekly she was “obsessed” with the reality TV series, and especially Bill, so it’s no surprise she was blown away when they crossed paths at an event.

Fortunately for Giuliana, the feelings were mutual for the businessman. “When we first met, I think we knew there was something special,” Bill recalled on Today in May 2013, adding things were moving faster than he “had never done in [his] life before.”

“On our second date — this is what we tell people — we were making plans for six to seven months in advance,” he gushed. “I think it was the third or fourth date when she came to [my hometown] Chicago, and that was it. That was the weekend we both knew it would be it for us. It was the rest of our lives.”

As they planned, Giuliana and Bill wed in 2007, and after being together for five years, they welcomed their first and only child, Edward Duke Rancic, via surrogate in August 2012. “Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives,” the doting mom told E! News at the time. “Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!”

Almost a decade has passed since Duke arrived, but Giuliana’s bond with her family and Bill has remained stronger than ever. While celebrating their latest wedding anniversary in September 2020, the Going Off Script author proved how grateful she is for her man.

“You are my [sunshine], my only [sunshine]. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life,” she gushed. “What an incredible 13 years … here’s to a lifetime together. I love you forever, honey.”

Bill Was in the Entertainment Industry When They Met

The brown-haired heartthrob caught the attention of Giuliana when he starred in the first season of The Apprentice. “I was like obsessed with The Apprentice and Bill in particular,” she told Us Weekly in January 2018. “Because I watched every episode … [and] so many people that first season [were] so big.”

In addition to The Apprentice, he’s also starred in Ready for Love, Giuliana and Bill, We Mean Business and more.

Giuliana Was in a Relationship When They Met

Considering the blonde beauty was romantically involved with someone else, things didn’t almost happen between the celeb news reporter and Bill. Giuliana recalled how her ex-boyfriend practically set the two up when they met at an event in 2004.

“When Bill walked into this NBC party, I freaked out and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,'” she recalled, noting her ex-love pointed out her crush on the TV star. “My boyfriend at the time was like, ‘You’re going to die. Bill Rancic just walked in, because he had just won.'”

“He introduced me to Bill, but he goes, ‘I’m afraid the two of you would run off together,'” Giuliana continued. “Isn’t that crazy? And we did … like years later.”

Their Romance Began After Giuliana Interviewed Bill for E!

The Giuliana and Bill alum reconnected with the Kitchen Casino personality when he stopped by for an interview in 2005. “I would watch [The Apprentice] with my girlfriend Colette every week, and Colette’s like, ‘You need to marry him.’ I’m like, ‘I do need to marry him,'” she once shared with the Huffington Post. “So that’s why when the assignment came up at E! I was all over that.”

During the interview, Bill and Giuliana engaged in some serious flirting. “What’s your life like, as far as romance and love, have you …?” Giuliana asked, to which he replied, “It’s been … how ’bout yours? Let’s turn this around.”

Giuliana responded, “OK, honest, I’m very busy, I work a lot, so I haven’t found any time.” Bill agreed, telling the TV legend, “That’s how it is for me.” However, they proved nothing was getting in the way of their connection when they became a couple shortly after.

Bill is a Doting Dad

Giuliana loves being the mom of her adorable son, Duke, but the same goes for Bill, who is such an amazing dad. On Instagram, it’s extremely common for Giuliana to share a snap of her boys.

“Happy Father’s Day to our best friend and the most wonderful and loving daddy we could have ever hoped for,” she wrote in June 2020. “Thank you for making our life a beautiful adventure every single day and showering us with so much love. Duke and I love and adore you beyond words.”

Family Comes First for Bill

Both Bill and his longtime love have busy careers, but they “have one rule, and that’s family first,” he exclusively told Closer Weekly in 2018. “We don’t compromise [that] and don’t break the rule. Family always comes first, and I always say kids still love time. That’s what we really believe and Duke gets a lot of our time, we spend a lot with him and that’s certainly priority No. 1.”
