Spending countless hours in the Annadel State Park is for sure one of my best childhood memories. The location, the vibe, and even the people there positively affected my life. But that's not the only great thing about Santa Rosa.

Santa Rosa, California, is a thriving city with a bustling downtown and historic attractions. It is located outside San Francisco. Also, it has the potential to be one great tourist destination in the year 2021. Therefore, we are quickly looking at the cities history, and then we dive in deep into what to experience there this year.

Santa Rosa History

Santa Rosa is a city in Sonoma County, California, and the county seat. It is located in the North Bay of the Bay Area. Saint Rose of Lima was the patron saint of Santa Rosa, which was established in 1833. The Bitakomtara was a powerful and populous Pomo tribe who lived on the Santa Rosa Plain before Europeans arrived.

Santa Rosa is near to San Francisco, making it convenient to visit if you want to get out of the city and do something new.
