Ontario, California is one of the greatest cities that I have got to spend a summer in It is called “Southern California Gate” and it is thirty-five miles northeast of Los Angeles. The city is located close to L.A. and a really great tourist destination for 2021. Here are first some things that you need to know about Ontario and than my favorite things to do there.

Ontario History

Ontario was founded in September 1882 by the Brothers George and William B. Chaffey, and named after their hometown of Ontario, Canada. It is located in California's southwestern district of San Bernardino. The Brothers bought the “Lands of San Antonio,” which comprised 6,218 hectares of land, and set aside the Community of Ontario 640 hectares.

Ontario Attractions

This city has a lot of things to do itself and the surrounding areas. Ontario city has a regional park called Cucamonga-Guasti with beautiful lakes, leisure areas, and several cultural attractions such as the Graber Olive House attractions.

Museum of History and Arts

You might also go to the museum and go to the nearby Museum of History and Art, where the history of Ontario and the surrounding areas are collected, preserved, and interpreted throughout the year, with various educational exhibits and events.

Graber Olive House

To try some of the world's finest olives, if you feel you must travel through the Mediterranean, then you are sadly mistaken. Tour to the Graber Olive House, home to the well-known, family-owned Graber Olives since 1894.

Glen Ivy Hot Springs

Glen Ivy Hot Springs is just a short drive away and offers you lovely seating and an excellent spa experience. There are very long thermal springs, on which the spa is located, which was once a holy place.

North Etiwanda Preserve

In the region, there is no better place for walking than in the preserve of North Etiwanda. You can head for Etiwanda Falls to the north of the main trail, about a kilometer and a half from the trailhead of the parking lot if it's adventurous.

Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden

This garden is only 15 minutes from the valley and is California’s largest botanic garden. It is a living museum and you're going to love to learn about the whole fauna within.

Ontario Entertainment

You can enjoy real authentic racing with options for both new and expert drivers as you can nowhere else. In modern venues, for a high-performance experience, You will hit the track in state-of-the-art karting.

Ontario Lodging

Steakhouse, Italian, American, Mexican and Japanese cuisines are known to restaurants in this area. Iron Skillet, Daddy O's Rockin Cafe, Spires Restaurant, and the Burgers Brothers are some of the popular restaurants.

Ontario shopping

Go to Ontario Mills to make some holiday shopping, and more than 24 million shoppers stop each year. If you do not like to go shopping at a drab indoor center, go to the pedestrian, open-air shopping center Victoria Gardens.

This is the city that is proud to be 45 minutes from anywhere you want to be. As a starting point for your Californian adventures, there is plenty to do during your 2021 trip in Ontario itself and the surrounding regions. Let me know what you think about Ontario.
