From the moment we called to make a reservation, we were treated well. When we arrived, the greeter was lovely, as was our waitress. Excellent attentive service. Our water glass was constantly refilled.
I ended my dinner with a cardamaro digestif. It was the perfect end to a delectable dinner.
- Cardamaro is a wine-based aperitif, aged in oak. It is infused with cardoon and blessed thistle which are relatives of the artichoke. The taste has a richness and weight of sweet vermouth with a gentle herbal bitterness.

Its secret location is on Post Alley across from the back door of Kell's Irish Pub. As soon as you enter the one door on Post Alley with no name, go down to the main floor of the restaurant. When you arrive, you get the feeling of warmth, history, and elegance.
If weather permits, the deck is the spot to be. The views of the Olympic Mountains allow you to imagine that you're not in the center of a large city.
