Are you craving something sweet for dessert or just to cool down and you're in St. Louis? Well here are the best places to chill out and grab a tasty and sweet treat. I've made a list of my favorite ice cream destinations right in St. Louis. And here's the thing... you can't go wrong with any of them! Okay, on to the list.
Ted Drewes Frozen Custard
Ted Drewes has been selling frozen custard for over 80 years and his consciousness for quality has set the standard around town. This place is a great spot to enjoy any kind of frozen dessert, from concretes, malts, shakes, sundaes, floats to ice cream sodas. It can get crowded, but don't worry, the service is fast and it is totally worth the wait! The website for Ted Drewes is found right here.
Clementine's Creamery actually has four locations in St.Louis. One of location is found in Lafayette Square, and this place has a very impressive variety of ice cream, and gelato. They even have vegan options too. Their unique line of "hot chocolate bombs" is crafted from only the best Valrhona chocolate. I swear it has to be tasted. The Boozy Brunch Bomb includes Amaretto, Irish cream liqueur and Hazelnut liqueur with French imported Valrhona cocoa, marshmallows, mini chocolate chips. As if that is not enough, there is a Valrhona milk chocolate shell with sweet mint garnish is simply out of this world. Keep in mind that you can also have handmade craft ice cream delivered right to you! Check out their website here.
They have some seriously creative ice cream flavors and they didn't just sound good, they tasted great. We will have to come back to try more! They also did a fantastic job of keeping customers apart and masks are required. - Annik_K
Fountain on Locust
Located on Locust Street, this restaurant is the perfect retro dinner to hang out with the family. It's a great spot to grab a bite and top that with a frozen dessert. They offer a variety of Signature Ice Cream Martinis and also drink House-Made Sodas that you can order with ice cream, and both are just perfect. They also have the best soups in town and amazing sandwiches so whether your hungry or thirsty you'll find everything you need. Here's the website for this one of a kind ice cream bar and restaurant.
