The plans are filed. It’s official: Topgolf wants to build an interactive golf facility along I-84 in Meridian.
BoiseDev previously reported that Topgolf was conducting a neighborhood meeting and had three months to file a permit to the city. Now, the golf venue has officially applied for a Conditional Use Permit.

The two-story, 36,771 square foot golf venue will feature a full-service restaurant and bar where guests can buy food and drinks such as nachos and burgers.
Within the golf venue is a driving range with 30 bays that have TVs and a spot to tee off. The venue will also include large events space on each level along the south end of the curved building.
The range is interactive; it has electronic targets that make Topgolf a place for all skill levels to play golf and hang out. A separate outdoor patio opposite from the golf bays is also shown on site plans.
A future area for mini-golf is also shown on site plans.
The company once joked on Twitter blue turf was an option for its Meridian location, but the landscape plan submitted to the city shows traditional green turf.
I-eighty-fore!
Topgolf will install a net with poles to catch the golf balls, from leaving the site or flying on to I-84. The netting will not exceed 156 feet. The application letter also says that there will be LED lighting, which should not disturb the neighboring buildings.

The Topgolf venue would be within BVA’s development Eagle View Landing near I-84. BVA has more plans for the area, including restaurants and a Hyatt Place hotel.
