Nine says Ben Fordham will 'work harder' to recover from recent ratings slump as breakfast radio rivals edge closer
Nine Radio has addressed their star Ben Fordham's recent slip in the ratings.
The media company's head of content Greg Byrnes said the talkback host would 'work harder' to claw back his share of the market, in an interview with Radio Today.
In the most recent ratings survey, Fordham's 2GB show fell 2.6 points to a 15.5% share.
Meanwhile, the Wendy Harmer and Robbie Buck-hosted breakfast show on ABC Radio has climbed 0.5 points to a 13.2% share.
'What’s to remember is that he’s still clear #1,' insisted Byrnes, while conceding that Fordham would be disappointed by the result.
